Would like to get your opinions on them.

Their blog dates back to last July, so they appear to be fairly new. I like the Bitfury miner logo w/ those new chips just announced. Plus they have all the credit card logos.

On the flip side, they’re in Belize, which doesn’t instill a lot of confidence. I haven’t found any “proof of mining” pics at all.

Thanks for the tip, I’ll be watching them to see what happens next.

That is not a plus.

Well they supposedly have ties to Bitfury that’s all I have been able to find out. I just wondered if anyone knew anyone who had accounts with them.

Hahaha the joke’s on me isn’t it? Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice… lmao

I find it suspicious that they accept all those payment methods. It’s screaming give me all your money.

I will be opening a small canary account with them soon, in two weeks at most. You can never tell what might happen in this crazy crypto world. I’m treating it just like penny stocks, which means I’m throwing pennies in all directions & watching carefully to see if any of the penny seeds have signs of turning into dollars.

Again, thanks for the tip!

Belize is a popular location for Payment processors and gaming operators for obvious reasons. Personally I dislike sites that have a dash in their domain name which obviously doesn’t automatically make them a scam.

They have UK and US phone numbers in their footer as point of contact. Anyone fancy giving them a call to ask them some questions?

The bottom part of their website states:

Registered office: No. 1 Orchid Garden Street, Belmopan, Belize, C.A.
Forex trading involves financial risk, and every customer of BIT-X assumes responsibility for any losses that may occur at trading on Forex.

Thus this company would require a brokerage licence issued by the Government of Belize. Should be easy to be chased up. (Edit: horrible language)

Checked the Belize gov site. Here is where they list “warning notices” of revoked licenses:

http://www.ifsc.gov.bz/category/warning-notices/

No licenses were revoked in the past 8 months at the address they are at now. Not much value in that info though.

They are listed as “Xbit Ltd” with a license for “Trading in Securities” here:

http://www.ifsc.gov.bz/licensed-service-providers/list-f/

Same address as listed on the bit-x web site.

Too bad they couldn’t think of a name they could use without at dash on the net. Lazy gets
