I have a BFL 700GH Monarch I'm looking to sell for either BTC or Paypal - hit me up with an offer. It's watercooled (cool!) so it's reasonably quiet, you need only half-a-watt per GH you run it at especially when underclocked - this goes up when you run it past 500GH. at 700GH it draws more per GH, of course. It's a nice, efficient rig at 500GH which is what I've been running it at. Also, it CAN be used in a PCI slot in your computer if you so choose so it need not stand out like a sore thumb on your desk. YMMV with this configuration - I didn't try using it this way.
In any event, I'd like to get at least $250 for it - they sell for at least that much on FleaBay - but I'd rather find it a good home here with someone I know who'll enjoy it.
I use cgminer 4.9.2 to run it - the latest versions of BFGMiner don't run it well. There is a pre-compiled version of BFGMiner on BFL's website (version 4.20) that works fine, but doesn't have the XNSUB patch applied.
Of course, if you're a noob, I'll help you get it up and running.
Hit me up via PM if you want this cool rig.
P.S. Honestly, it's worth the small amount of BTC or PayPal just because it's cool looking, IMHO.
P.P.S. If you wonder what a 500GH rig could possibly be used for in the face of rising bitcoin difficulty, ask via PM and I'll tell you a little secret of mine. Shhhh...
