Good day all
I am starting this thread to give a review of a Data Center that offers hosting of Crypto mining hardware. Their Data center is located in Washington State web site is http://hashthepla.net/ . Up until this last week of August I thought they were a great option for hosting a persons mining equipment and still have some control of your miner. So I purchased three S9 miners and shipped them to their Data Center to be hosted at their Data Center.
Unfortunately due to a dispute with (redacted third party name) they summarily turned off all the mining equipment that they associated with that group with less than a days notice and for some as yet unexplained to me reason turned off my miners as well. While what I have heard is technically hearsay at the moment. What I have been able to piece together so far is that Hash the planet has acted in an extremely bad, if not illegal, manner during this entire situation. They apparently reneged on a past verbal agreements, are enforcing contracts that (redacted third party name) never signed, and did all of this with less than a days notice giving (redacted third party name) little to no time to respond, come up with a compromise or try to work things out. From what I hear they have seized all of (redacted third party name) mining hardware and locked them out of their Data Center.
I have sent an email to Hash the Planet requesting my property be returned and fully intend to seek legal action in small claims court if nothing else, should my property not be returned to me.
I will keep updating this thread in regards to my personal property (three S9s) and I expect that the entire sordid affair will see the light of day in good time.
Note: at this juncture since legal action may be taken by me and others I am not going to name or speculate on the third party that is in dispute with Hash the planet, although I suspect many of you can guess the name…
