History of OneCoin scheme and opinion - http://ethanvanderbuilt.com/2015/05/08/onecoin-scam-yes-opinion/
Work in progress.
If you attempt to spam your referral link to the OneCoin system it will be flagged for removal.
After reviewing the material OneCoin presents to others. I think it prudent to have a proper discussion to help others entering this environment on how to evaluate it. As cryptocurrency moves froward with more acceptance from people across the globe. Many operators will still attempt to create schemes that compare themselves to Bitcoin, open blockchain technologies, and make centralized networks for new actors to be exploited.
Most of this community and others are already familiar with these attempts with other coins and projects. WE have the advantage to share our experience in guiding others of the principles of using open-sources and blockchain systems.
I’ll be adding more to the main body of this discussion over time.
When adding to the discussion I’m requesting users to post elevated claims or arguments.
This MLM is selling education about cryptocurrency and markets that is either plagiarized or usually free under its creator.
Simply saying its a MLM+Ponzi scheme is something WE know it as and its because we learned about how Bitcoin/blockchain interacts in the real world. It is not enough to convince others being instructed about cryptocurrency and are not being given the first classes on how to utilize blockchain technologies. All the OneCoin seminars start this way.
Bitcoin uses open-source code and has open ledger explorer (blockchain.info + more) that anyone can use around the world. Meaning everyone can evaluate the coins protocol code to audit it and confirm what is in it. The explorers allow anyone to look through the blockchain ledger.
OneCoin is closed-source and has no open ledger to the public in its current format. Meaning no one can audit the code for the coins protocol and evaluate what its doing. To explore the OneCoin ledger you have to login to its site.
This is the type of content I’m looking for. Hopefully we can have a simple chart showing the differences for new actors to the environment.
If you know anyone that is inside the OneCoin centralized network. Please ask them if their willing to share video, screenshots, of the interface and the “educational slides” they received depending on their level. Please hide their username or any details they request to hide.
Recent debit card failure not mentioned from the OneCoin promoters.
Mastercard removed its partnership after plenty of good reasons.
