Moving S5's and bringing in Avalons and S7s has already cleared these decks, it will leave us with power that is unused that we are still paying for. This is why we are now offering Colocation services. If these services are not utilized, there will be a continue non-payment, as mining with the last 2 diff increases has officially hit a point where it will no longer cover costs.
We're on our hail mary, if the hope is I alone resolve all of this with no assistance from the community, GHX will no longer survive. I just spent my weekend at the dc and did 25 hours worth of labor in order to identify a missing 100TH by repairing downed units, replacing bad psus, and partial hashing units. Even if we mine 100% luck at the equivalent hashrate in existence to GHX, we are at a negative $30/day to hit our costs.
We have 2 options, GHColocate succeeding or doing another batch sale to fulfill the free power with more efficient hardware. We can do a mixture of both.
As a side note, Avalons are averaging 0.285watts/GH while S7's are averaging 0.33watts/GH, Avalons have been a better quality unit through my testing, and are built much better than the S7's we've received. Bear in mind, the S7's have a smaller chip than the Avalons, just because it's a smaller chip, it doesn't mean it's more efficient.
If/When 16m are out we will have another Transformer in the building which we can get another purchase going for these units as well do a rotation from the S7's and Avalons to the newer units.
Primary point is, our initial goal is to get us back to a point where we're self sustaining and making payouts. This can only occur with help from the community. Batch 3 was a key piece to this plan, with it's failure we have been set back. Had this been successful we would still be seeing payouts today while still rotating old hardware for newer.
