Okay, so, math time.
1.8 J/MH = 1.8 W/MH (Watts are just Joules per second)
1 MH of X11 gets you 0.00040730 BTC per day (I'm using nicehash rates to try to compare the algos)
1000 W / 110 MH = ~9 W/MH (using A2 for scrypt efficiency)
1 MH of Scrypt gets you 0.00011260 BTC per day (again, nicehash)
0.25 W / GH (S7 efficiency)
1 GH of SHA gets you 0.00000339 BTC per day (theoretical 100% mining return)
So the comparison really becomes a 3 way comparison of Power, hashrate, and BTC return. It's fairly straight-foward to see that at current rates, the X11 asic sure wins the comparison.
One thing I haven't figured out yet is if this ASIC is for any X11 algo, or just DASH.
